Add bitcrusher crunch to audio
Arcade dust
Turn a clean sound into something crunchy. Choose how rough it gets.
Try this: Play a sample, move up for fewer bits, then compare Original.
Getting your tool ready…
Try it
Try a preset, then adjust Bit depth and Sample hold. Lower bit depth adds crunch; more sample hold makes the sound grainier.

A few useful details
What do bit depth and sample hold change?
Lower bit depth gives the signal fewer amplitude levels. Sample hold repeats individual sample values for longer. Both can add roughness, in different ways.
How do I keep editing in Audio Lab?
Choose Download effect WAV above. Open Audio Lab, choose Upload, and select that WAV. Your effect is already applied to the audio. You can trim it, add other effects and export it there. The Audio Lab link opens the app; you import the file yourself.
What happens when I open this in Studio?
A new private project opens with your notes or processed audio and tempo. It is saved on this device. It does not replace an existing project. You can edit the result and add another part there.
