Move sound between left and right

Sound in orbit

Move a sound from left to right. Use headphones to hear the difference.

Try this: Put on headphones, play a sample and move up for a wider orbit.

Getting your tool ready…

Try it

Use headphones or stereo speakers. Compare the centered original with a slow orbit, then try a quicker bounce.

What would you like to do next?

One recording to finish, or a track to build? Pick the app that fits.

Audio Lab

Finish this recording.

Working on a voiceover, a podcast clip or one recording? Trim the parts you need, add effects and export the finished audio.

In the tool, choose Download effect WAV, then import that file in Audio Lab. The sound you hear is already in the WAV.

What you can keep

Stereo audio with the movement applied, as a WAV or a Studio part.

Record or upload your own audio in Change sound. Files stay in your browser, with a limit of 12 MB and 30 seconds.

A few useful details

Why is the effect subtle on my phone speaker?

The movement is between left and right channels. Headphones or spaced stereo speakers make it easier to hear. A single speaker cannot reproduce that separation.

How do I keep editing in Audio Lab?

Choose Download effect WAV above. Open Audio Lab, choose Upload, and select that WAV. Your effect is already applied to the audio. You can trim it, add other effects and export it there. The Audio Lab link opens the app; you import the file yourself.

What happens when I open this in Studio?

A new private project opens with your notes or processed audio and tempo. It is saved on this device. It does not replace an existing project. You can edit the result and add another part there.
